What should I expect?
A warm and welcoming community of faith, love, and hope.
How is the environment?
Walking By Faith is non-denominational. We do not fall under any given doctrine, other than the word of God as instructed by Jesus Christ.
We love to worship and study God’s word together. And, worship here often reflects a genuine senses of humor. Walking by Faith Community Church loves to laugh.
We enjoy Christian fellowship – Family Game Night, Bowling, Carowinds, and fellowship with a number of local churches.
What should I wear?
We believe God cares about what’s in the heart. Wear whatever tasteful attire you like. Jeans, tennis shoes, suits and “church hats” are all welcome!
Will I be asked to give?
Well… yes
We believe in tithing (10% of your income). And, we have blessings over our Building Fund as we construct a worship and Family Life center on the corner of Sam Newell and Rice Road in Matthews, NC
Only give what your household can afford, as you are lead by the Holy Spirit.
What about my child?
Our youth ministry is definitely growing!
We are developing youth ministries like children’s church, youth choir and bible study. Sunday School, however, is up running and going strong!
We invite new members to help develop the additional sectors of the youth ministry.
Train-up a child in the way he/she should go – Proverbs 22:6.
